Sculpture
There is a flow to the sculpture of Robert Roesch. They move, while being still, they are powerful yet graceful, the angular elements form a rhythmical motion. In a word, the sculpture Of Robert Roesch is Inspiring. His massive 280 feet by 46 feet high Sculpture "Momemtum" can be seen at the entrance to Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. His "Wind Spirit Gateway" sculpture is the focal point Gateway to the city of Wichita, Kansas. "Takeflight" is a public Art Project in Norwich CT in which the sculpture flows onto the building and appears to echo its title. His sculptures are included in collections throughout the world. Among his many accomplishments are twenty major public art projects. Roesch was an invited artist in the 2007 Biannual in Egypt and lectured throughout Japan in 2006-07, His most recent honor was a major commission as an invited artist by the Chinese government and the Academy of Fine Arts in Hang Zhou, China. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Art and Design, State University of New York, Farmington and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts diploma from the School of Fine Arts, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York. He has taught at several institutions and is Instructor of Fine Arts at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Roesch has received twelve grants, including a Senior Specialist Fulbright Award. We are proud to represent the work of Robert Roesch and invite you to view his exciting art.
